Multiseat is the term used to describe a computer that is used to create several workstations.
Typically, there is only one single workstation: a monitor, a keyboard and mice is
connected to a computer for working and playing to a person. You can
connect more monitors, including keyboards and mice, but will still be
handled by one person.
Multiseat
lets you create separate workstations for each group of keyboard, mice
and monitor. That is, if a computer have two monitors, two keyboards and
two mices then two workstations may be created.
In the
picture four workstations connected to a single computer are observed.
The monitors are connected directly to the computer and keyboards and
mices to a USB hub. The USB hub will allow each user to connect more
items such as a USB sound card or USB memory.
